    Verdict

Bombadero is the standard setter here but given the likely odds we tempted to risk a play on Andrew Balding's PILOTE CELEBRE after a promising debut while Lileo should also be in the mix. Bred well enough the pick ran an encouraging first outing when showing plenty of greenness and managed to finish fifth of 11 at Salisbury. The form from that race hasn't had time to work out get but with more expected he should be a live contender. Bombadero has been progressive in two starts this season and only just found the one too good last time. He sets a clear standard and may take all the beating. Lileo makes a first start as a three-year-old and it will be interesting to see whether he's trained on. His opening gambit offered plenty of hope and with the form rock solid from that race he has every chance. Kalamill didn't really progress from his debut but if bouncing back he has a squeak but in a competitive contest Pilote Celebre gets the call at the forecast odds.
