Verdict

Easy Southwell winner Trixster was beaten at Ludlow on Wednesday and due to carry a penalty at Warwick yesterday. If successful, he would have 14lb extra here. Megaudais Speed won over 2m3f here a year ago and returned to winning ways at Wincanton. He still doesn't look badly treated while Flying Nun, who completed a double earlier in the year, only just failed to complete a hat-trick at Hereford. Itacare, a winner in France, had wind surgery after several disappointing runs and showed the benefit at Ludlow. There looks more to come but he has a 7lb rise to contend with and SABRINA (NAP) followed her victory at Wincanton with a cracking effort in a Grade 2 mares' handicap at Newbury so looks the one to beat.
