Verdict

Gilt Edge has done all of her winning over shorter trips but is still preferred to Little Boy Blue and Painless Potter. Newton Jack is a course and distance winner back on his favoured surface but MACS DILEMMA has also won over track and trip and has been in better form lately. Mighty Gurkha has been thereabouts in recent outings and Taylor Fisher takes off a very handy 7lb so the top weight is a danger, though is 0-13 on Turf. Fangorn is also respected just 2lb higher than when scoring at Newbury last month but was behind the selection last time at Brighton.
