        Verdict

        TRANSFIXED is narrowly preferred here to True Red, whilst any market support for one of the other David Evans-trained runners might sway opinion one way or the other. A winner of two of her four starts to date (all in selling company); the selection has shown an ability to act on a variety of underfoot conditions. She is related to several winners and is continuing in their footsteps so although she has a new jockey today, a big run is expected. Alphacino needs consideration now dropped in class, whilst horses such as Underworld Dandy and Acting Elegant are open to improvement. The latter is one of the five David Evans-trained runners, and jockey bookings might suggest that Highcliffe Bridge is expected to run well although it is very hard to try and second-guess. True Red has shown plenty of ability and Rod Millman's Redback filly has some good early-season form to her name and must be considered. This looks a good opportunity for Transfixed to win again.
