Verdict

An ordinary maiden can go to GREY DIAMOND if Alan King’s charge settles better than he did in a handicap at Wetherby four weeks ago. The Crooner is a danger on placed efforts at Warwick and Exeter but may have preferred easier going. Chapmanshype was staying on late behind Jacamar at Wincanton so may need a bit further, though he’ll know more today. None of the others make much appeal on what they’ve shown so far.
