In depth

Verdict

Palmridge, Hopkins and Brads House are three against the field in this novices hurdle with the vote going to Palmridge. The selection was a moderate third behind Black Jack Ketchum last time, this represents a massive drop in class and he need only run up to that mark to score. Hopkins rates the main danger on his latest second behind Michael Muck but he has already given the impression he would be suited by a longer trip and he is taken on with this in mind. Brads House is another that could go well but he will do well to give weight and a beating to some less exposed types and he looks opposable on that basis. Of the remainder I'm Lovin It could improve for the fitting of a first time tonge tie while Goscar Rock may be one to follow once handicapped and with this in mind for the winner we return to Palmridge.
