In depth

Verdict

Take The Breeze has been disappointing over further of late so could be suited by the drop in distance. Chance Du Roy and Nadiya De La Vega both scored on their reappearance and could be open to a little further improvement, while Cadoudalas is also capable of better than he's shown so far this season. The penalised Quincy Des Pictons may find this company too hot, however, and it's a while since Pigeon Island showed his best form though he's well handicapped now as a result. CONSIGLIERE was a long behind Chance Du Roy at Newbury last time and hasn't won for a while. But he's easing towards a decent mark and has plenty in his favour today. Providing his jumping stands up to the test, David Pipe's eight-year-old could go close at generous odds.
