Verdict

Threezedzz, Winning Venture and Marshman are three against the field in another tough race to call and the tentative vote goes to Winning Venture. The selection is from a very shrewd yard is dropping in grade and with conditions in his favour he is taken to score. Threezedzz rates the main danger on his latest third behind Compton Drake but he just gave the impression his improvement was flattening out on that occasion and for that reason he is opposed. Marshman is another worthy of respect but he was slightly disappointing last time. However this softer ground will suit and he is worth noting in the market. Of the remainder Jay Gee's Choice is dropping in grade and is from a yard that is beginning to hit form so it would be no surprise if he were to bounce back to form but in a race where there stakes should be kept to a minimum for the winner we return to Winning Venture.
