    Verdict

The novice Bobosh has won his last two starts but faces no easy task on his debut in a handicap today, even in receipt of weight, and preference is for Ibal who gets the vote over Mouseski and Talbot Lad. The last mentioned seems plenty high enough in the weights at present and would prefer a faster surface anyway so a bigger threat to the selection is likely to come from Mouseski. The Paul Nicholls-trained gelding won three times from four starts in hunter chases for Ron Barber last term and is interesting back with Nicholls in a handicap. However, he would not appear to have been let in particularly lightly and preference is for Ibal. The selection has dropped to a fair mark and has the conditions that he so relishes. Any further rain would be of further help to the eight-year-old who is taken to make a winning return.
