Verdict

Sennockian Star is the only course and distance winner in the line-up having won from exactly the same mark on fast ground last June. He's been running in better company on unsuitable ground so don't be surprised by a big run. American Artist couldn't quite hold the late thrust of Hit The Jackpot at Doncaster but that was his first start since September. Darshini was landing his third victory in eight starts at Chelmsford but this is a better race and he's 4lb higher. Felix De Vega enjoyed the heavy going at Ripon with an easy victory but has been hit with an 8lb rise. DARK RED was gelded during the winter and has returned to action in top form, following his victory at Chelmsford with another in a similar class race to this at Epsom. He has a 6lb rise to contend with but is progressing fast enough to defy the burden. What About Carlo caught the eye in that latter event and should soon be adding to last year's victories.
