Sneaky Peek was second to a subsequent winner at Newbury but would require a step forward to go one better here. Mons Star ran green at Newmarket in a race in which Godolphin had three runners. He will have come on for the experience and Damon Runyon is tried in blinkers after another second at Lingfield last month. Further rain would aid his cause but he is starting to look a little exposed like Bo Samraan, who has already been beaten three times in handicaps. Future Investment is a likely improver but FAYLAQ should be a different proposition this year now stepped up in trip. He is by Dubawi out of a 1m4f Group 1 winner and he didn’t get the run of the race when a beaten favourite at Newmarket on his final start last season.
