    Verdict

Blue Wave has gone up another 3lb for finishing third at Leicester behind today's rival Red Runaway last month. The latter is fancied to confirm running in this but runner-up CAFE SOCIETY looks the one to take out of the race. David Simcock's colt was having only his second start when headed at the post at Leicester having won on his racecourse debut. He makes more appeal than dual Polytrack winner Gabrial's Wawa and Van Percy, a winner in heavy ground at Carlisle. Good Evans ran well over track and trip on Wednesday but this is tougher.
