Verdict

BERRAHRI has a good record on the track and is 1lb lower than when last successful here. Silvestre De Sousa has been booked and John Best's charge gets a speculative vote in a tight handicap. Never Surrender is another course and distance winner who competed in strong handicaps after his maiden victory and made a very pleasing reappearance at Newbury. Indian Chief is generally thereabouts at this level, as he was at Ripon, though he could have done without a 3lb rise. Dark Devil loves it around here and has been given a chance by the assessor but Bakht A Rawan has a 5lb rise to contend with in this better race after his victory on heavy ground at Windsor.
