In depth

Verdict

On the same terms as when beaten by stablemate Keenes Day at Beverley last time, RAWNAQ might just be able to turn the tables. The selection showed a very willing attitude when passed to battle back that day and with fewer miles on the clock and good ground ideal we will take him to find some small improvement and score. Last year's winner Mith Hill is 6lb higher this afternoon but showed some sort of a return to form last time and should be involved. Omokoroa has first-time headgear applied, which may help, and if the rains came then he would more strongly enter calculations. Rangefinder beat him here earlier in the campaign but the assessor looks to have him now, while the same applies to Topolski, who has to prove the he gets this far.
