    Verdict

This sharp track might suit the free-going Maydanny but he failed to cope with an 11lb hike in the ratings at York three weeks ago and may face a battle for the lead from Lawn Ranger, who held off Wednesday’s Doncaster winner Strait Of Hormuz here last month and is only 2lb higher. Be More has a good strike-rate and showed he stayed this trip at Sandown two runs ago but 1m2f around here may be an insufficient test for Prejudice. The likely strong gallop should help VICTORY CHIME, who is re-equipped with the visor he wore when successful twice last year. He makes more appeal than Restorer with Gabrials Boy scheduled to run here yesterday.
