Verdict

The combination of hood and blinkers suggest that DANAT AL ATHEER isn't the most cooperative of individuals but she's clearly progressive and William Haggas' inmate can add to her recent victory at Newbury. That said, she's by no means a certainty as Star Lahib and Miss Cap Estel are previous winners at this esoteric track. Bridle Belle is better known as a soft ground performer though she almost stole a Listed race at Warwick under similar conditions and George Chaloner's 5lb claim could prove decisive at the finish. Lady Macduff is undoubtedly well handicapped on the pick of her form though a losing run of 15 might be enough to mute some enthusiasm about the Mark Johnston inmate.
