Verdict

Point-to-point winner Corrigs was well supported for his debut over regulation fences at Tramore and ran well enough to suggest he can make his presence felt over this longer trip. Definite Treasure won a point at Stradbally last month but may find the ground a bit lively while Easter Hunt has pulled up in his two starts over fences after showing promise over hurdles. Gold Patrol fell on his last start over hurdles in March and that may have affected his confidence as he pulled up on his chasing debut at Roscommon. His stablemate, winning point-to-pointer Mells Theater, won a poor maiden hurdle at Sligo but should do better over fences as should VALENTINO'S CHOICE. The latter ran easily his best race so far under Rules in what looked a strong event at Limerick and, with further progress likely, is given the nod.
