Verdict

Coldstonesober has done better with each start over fences and there's still scope for improvement. Il Fenomeno scored over hurdles at the Punchestown Festival in April and made a reasonable debut over fences at Roscommon. He'll be better for that experience and will be fancied to gain his first success over the bigger obstacles but he was behind OWEGA STAR in that Roscommon event and Peter Fahey's charge, also a useful hurdler, looks the one to be on here. Ted Dolly has been in good form over timber and a couple of runs over fences will have done him no harm while Total Excitement had some strong form over fences last summer.
