In depth

Verdict

It's impossible to see past EDEYMI, though he's the only four-year-old in the line-up and is taking on older horses for the first time. His close third behind Darroun and subsequent Grade 1 winner Hisaabaat at Leopardstown is different class to anything achieved by today's rivals and his allowance is an obvious bonus. Chasing Shadows ran very well behind the odds-on Marasonnien at Naas and looks booked for a place at least while Coolking found some improvement when tackling this trip for the first time over hurdles here earlier this month. The remainder will need to find massive improvement to trouble the principals.
