Verdict

The last six favourites have won this. ALELCHI INOIS (NAP) is likely to start a warm order this time and should continue the sequence. Willie Mullins' charge disappointed in his second season over fences after an excellent novice campaign but has returned this summer in superb form, scoring at Punchestown then narrowly beaten in the Galway Plate before beating Clarcam a distance there. He didn't jump as well as usual in a Grade 1 in Italy last time but should have no difficulties here. His former stable companion Outlander had Monksland almost three lengths behind when landing a Leopardstown Grade 1 in February and has continued in cracking form but Days Hotel looks to have a bit to do under a penalty for scoring at this level at Naas in February.
