Verdict

THE WEST AWAITS, runner-up in a similar race at Cork on her debut, didn't run badly in a Grade 2 at Leopardstown earlier this month and should have few problems losing her maiden tag. Daphne Moon showed plenty of potential in her opening two runs but was bitterly disappointing when odds-on at Naas though that can't have been her form. The remainder with experience haven't shown much but Derek O'Connor's presence on board John Kiely's newcomer Phillapa Sue is interesting.
