Verdict

The last two winners of this, THE GATECHECKER (NAP) and Out Sam, return for another crack. The latter has been struggling but the former is just 6lb higher than a year ago and looks to have been primed to complete the double after two recent runs over hurdles. Deadheat has been in excellent form scoring at Wexford and Punchestown though is up 10lb for his last victory while The Caddy Rose is still 7lb higher than her victory at Kilbeggan despite three subsequent defeats. Prospectus and Tokyo Getaway represent Gavin Cromwell with the latter looking on a fair mark.
