Verdict

Half of this field have won between the flags at some stage including PULLED MUSSEL, who scored at Dromahane in March. Robert Tyner's charge then won a bumper on this track by 19 lengths and though this is a better than average maiden he can make a successful start over hurdles. The locally-based handler also runs point-to-point winners Farriers Gold and Mount Brandon plus heavy ground bumper winner Vicangelome though it's another easy bumper winner, Young Dillon, who could prove an even bigger threat after an impressive success at Downpatrick. Heck Thomas made a successful debut in a Punchestown bumper on heavy going just over two years ago but hasn't been seen since runner-up on his hurdling bow a couple of weeks later. Charles Byrne has a pair of interesting contenders and Red Road produced very good runs in his first two starts last year so is worth watching in the market.
