In depth

Verdict

Official ratings suggest this is between 17-times winner PEREGRINE RUN, and Wonder Laish. The former has been mixing hurdles, fences and the Flat and his best recent run came in a Grade B handicap hurdle at Punchestown in May. He gets the vote as the latter has never raced beyond 2m1f and is likely to be warming up for Galway. Yaiza has won three of his last four, one of them over fences, though he's yet to face anything of the calibre of the principals. Nibblers Charm is another probably heading to the west coast after landing a lucrative handicap there last year.
