In depth

Verdict

Very little to go on here but JEWELLED PRINCE hinted at ability for Richard Fahey on the Flat and showed the benefit of his opening run over timber at Listowel with a better effort at Punchestown - further progress can see him home in front. Making Shapes, a winner on the level for Peter Chapple-Hyam, finished tailed off on his hurdling bow at Fairyhouse but given his connections any money for him would have to be respected. Walkabout has been well beaten at big prices in all three starts over timber but Summerhill Lewis ran well for a long way when fourth in a big field at Fairyhouse on his hurdling debut and could provide the main threat. Sandra Hughes' newcomer Bakmaj wouldn't need to be anything special to make a successful debut in a poor contest.
