Verdict

Lakemilan beat stablemate Articulum to win last year’s renewal but is 9lb higher on this occasion and ABBEY MAGIC is preferred. She was beaten only a head at Kilbeggan on her first start since 2018 having landed a hat-trick under Rachael Blackmore in the same year and makes more appeal than Ornua and Jan Maat of Henry De Bromhead’s three runners. Dakota Moirette faces a tougher task than when second in a beginners’ chase at Punchestown while stablemate Timoteo has been off the track since last November. Us And Them has struggled over longer trips since finishing third in the Grand Annual at Cheltenham but is still preferred to Quamino and Lever Du Soleil.
