In depth

Verdict

Many of these have been racing on much softer ground including Special Token, whose two victories to date have both come on heavy going. Muzak gained his first success in 13 starts at Limerick but has a 7lb rise to contend with while Castle Anshan has been raised 4lb for finishing runner-up at Killarney and the handicapper may have hold of him. Bachelor Affair has been chasing and isn't badly treated on his return to hurdles but OLD THEATRE ROYAL was such a convincing winner at Tramore a fortnight ago that he looks capable of defying a 9lb rise.
