In depth

Verdict

Galway Hurdle winner Quick Jack started favourite for the Ebor then finished third in the Cesarewitch so he's obviously racing over a trip too short though his class can see him produce a strong run. Ceylon will love the conditions having won twice on heavy going last season though she pulled up when tried over hurdles in January. STUCCODOR (NAP) has won six times on Turf including the 2014 Irish Lincoln. He's finished second in five of his eight starts over hurdles and will be fit for this so gets the nod to add another victory to his tally. Sr Cartage is another who will enjoy the conditions as he scored twice on testing ground in September before an excellent third in the November Handicap at Leopardstown. He'll be ready for this and looks the main threat as Hes Our Music, who is well enough handicapped, prefers quicker going.
