In depth

Verdict

The jury is out on Mossey Joe, who arrived on the scene from the point-to-point field with huge expectations. He won a Grade 3 on his debut over hurdles and scored his first two starts over regulation fences but things haven't worked out since and he was last of three when long odds-on here three weeks ago. REBEL FITZ has now won eight of his 13 starts including the lucrative Galway Hurdle last time. He's likely to be seen in better company than this later in the year and will be very difficult to beat. Sailors Warn was 10l behind at Galway and can hardly be expected to reverse the form while Jack Cool reverts to hurdles after a spell of chasing without success.
