Verdict

This has been a poor race for three-year-olds in the past and though there are some potentially useful stayers among the entries this time it's asking a lot of them in these conditions. Father Of Science won nicely over 1m2f at Chester but will find this very different and Offer, who is blinkered for the first time, may prove a better prospect over the trip though he has a little bit to find with Hartani on their 1-2 at Tipperary and John Oxx' colt can prove best of the youngsters. MIDNIGHT SOPRANO has improved out of all recognition and probably hasn't stopped yet after stepping up again to Listed class at Leopardstown. She's guaranteed to stay the trip and will love the ground so is taken to continue her successful run. Sense Of Purpose has the class for this but he's been absent since September and has always needed his opening run in the past but useful hurdler Steps To Freedom can't be ignored.
