In depth

Verdict

Verhoyen has a tremendous record around here and arrives in fine form having finished a close second at Tipperary on Friday. Geological gained the 15th victory of his career at Down Royal but was pulled out of a race at Tipperary on Friday when the ground durned soft. Crystal Black led close home in a Ballinrobe maiden over an extended 1m1f so this looks sharp enough for his handicap debut. RAMIRO's two victories last summer came on heavy going and it was yielding when he scored at Limerick last month so the likely further rain would greatly enhance his claims. Pretty Boy Floyd loves it around here and though high enough in the weights has his rider's claim as a huge plus. Miss Molly T has been staying on over 7f but Independent Missy is best at this trip and would have to be a threat at her best. Tresorier and Resourceful Man were engaged in the 2.07 at Cork yesterday.
