Aidan O'Brien has entered a pair of three-year-olds though neither ran well enough in a Navan Listed contest last month to be considered against their elders. LAGANORE (NAP), who is top rated here, came out best in third and was conceding 3lb to fourth-placed Beautiful Morning, who has been supplemented for this. Creggs Pipes, who attempted to make all, faded in the closing stages but should have come on a bundle for the run as should Turret Rocks though Chilli Spice was well beaten. The selection is a tough and consistent mare at this level and should just about come out best again with Pat Smullen's presence in the saddle for the first time a real bonus.
