Verdict

Hasanour won this last year from 7lb lower but his young rider's claim takes care of the extra. Shane Foley rode him a year ago and he's now on the stable's Eastern Rules, who ran well in Dubai over the winter and will be better for his recent run at Gowran. Hat Alnasar was in tremendous form at Dundalk earlier this year and though he's shot up the weights he's been freshened up and has to be respected. CHAMPAGNE OR WATER is another to have gone up considerably though that's hardly surprising after her victory in a tough Gowran handicap then a superb run behind Creggs Pipes in a similar race to this over the course and distance. She's given the nod to return to winning ways though Johann Bach has quickly returned to form and likes it around here and Wexford Opera makes a quick reappearance after scoring on soft ground at Gowran on Sunday.
