In depth

Verdict

Coill Avon caught the eye on his debut and attempted to make all over Navan's extended 5f but was reeled in close home by Forest Of Dreams, who then finished last in a Group 2. Procellarum stayed on over an extended 6f at Limerick but could only run on at one pace over 7f at Leopardstown. Flexible Approach is by New Approach, who won this in 2012, out of a mare from a top family and is one to note though Aidan O'Brien could hold the key with his two entries. Duke Of Mantua cost 170,000gns and is a half-brother to six winners but it's the 1.3mgns ST MARK'S BASILICA who catches the eye as he's a half-brother to the Futurity and 2000 Guineas winner Magna Grecia.
