Verdict

Unless there is something special amongst the newcomers, TAIGAN can get off the mark. The son of Kingmambo was beaten just a head by stablemate After on his debut here in June and hasn't been disgraced behind useful opposition subsequently. Something Graceful looks next best of those with experience having finished runner-up at Gowran where the soft ground may not have suited. Michael Halford's yard is in cracking form so the Teofilio colt Blue Corner, who is owned by Sheikh Mohammed, is one to keep an eye on along with the same owner's Hay Point, a half-sister to a Grade 2 winner in Australia.
