Verdict

TOE THE LINE (NAP) won this a year ago and, though unsuccessful subsequently, has been competing at a high level over shorter including when an excellent fourth in the Ebor. She faces a stiff task against the very progressive Silwana, who easily landed a premier handicap at Leopardstown though she was beaten into third by the selection there a year ago when receiving 5lb. Chapter Seven has had 34 career starts but never over a trip this far and though Sr Cartage is stepping out of handicap company she may prove more of a threat having completed a double at the Listowel Festival in very easy fashion. Certerach would be a good bet here if recapturing the kind of form that saw him beat Cavalryman in the Dubai Gold Cup at Meydan last year but there has been little sign of him doing so in recent runs.
