Verdict

Michael Halford won this last year and has two entries with chances here. SURROUNDING's saddle slipped in this a year ago but she's been thriving in Listed company having won twice at that level. She's just handed the vote despite being joined by the improving Sonaiyla, who battled on strongly to score over 6f here last month and could be even better over the extra. Crotchet has been narrowly beaten in three strong handicaps since arriving from Richard Fahey's yard so looks certain to run well but Bungee Jump, the flag-bearer for the UK's youngest trainer Grace Harris, will find this tougher than the two Class 4 handicaps she's won at Chepstow though she'll enjoy the conditions. Innamorare had Crotchet behind when runner-up to Aussie Valentine over a mile here last time but is probably better at that trip at this level. I Remember You has been running in better company though keeps going up in the weights without winning but Crafty Madam ran a fine race on her debut for Ken Condon at Leopardstown and looks a threat to all.
