In depth

Verdict

Parish Boy won a Listed contest as a juvenile but only had one run last year. He wouldn't be starting back in this ultra-tough handicap unless he was expected to do himself justice. The stable also run Al Mohalhal, a close second to Dick Whittington in a Group 3 at Leopardstown. The top pair are trained in the UK and Boomshackerlacker is always dangerous at this sort of level but Instant Attraction has been climbing the weights without winning. Dream Walker arrives from Yorkshire in tremendous form having run twice at the Galway Festival, landing a 7f handicap in the latter race. He's now on his highest ever mark but should still give a good account. An Saighdiur is in superb form though it's five years since he ran over a trip this far so the vote goes to SIKANDARABAD. Dermot Weld would have had plenty of options in this and the fact that the Galway maiden winner takes his chance is a pointer as he may not be as well handicapped again.
