        Verdict

        French 1000 Guineas heroine ERVEDYA followed that success with victory in the Coronation Stakes at Ascot in June and the three-year-old is taken to hold off a strong challenge from the UK raiders. Amazing Maria makes most appeal of those as she proved her defeat of Rizeena at Ascot was no fluke by winning the Group 1 Falmouth Stakes at Newmarket last time where she beat Fintry and Bawina. Odeliz and Amulet look up against it at this level but Usherette could be anything and Mickael Barzalona abandons stablemate Fintry to ride Andre Fabre's unbeaten filly.
