        Verdict

        A first win continues to elude Arrowtown and she's not getting much help from the handicapper. Bamako Du Chatelet's winning run came to end at Goodwood last time and he may be too high in the weights now while Chauvelin steps up a grade after a narrow defeat in a ladies' race at Ripon. Ryan Moore is a significant jockey booking for HARD TOFFEE, who showed himself to be much better than a plater when third over course and distance on his handicap debut. He's still unexposed, which is more than you can say about his rivals. Duke Of Diamonds won over 1m6f at Nottingham and may find this on the short side.
