Verdict

Satwa Moon has only won once, at Wolverhampton last March, but has run some good races in defeat and is quite lightly-raced for his age. MONKTON VALE is another who has only won once, at Pontefract on fast ground last summer, but he's 2lb lower here and will have been primed for action by Richard Fahey. He could be good enough in an open contest in which Abergavenny is another to note after a very good first season that saw him successful twice over this trip. Tim Easterby won a division of this a year ago and Jonny Lesters Hair should give a good account. He returned to action in good form last year and improved as stepped up in trip throughout the campaign. Bonfire Knight looks a little high in the weights but his yard is in such good form that he shouldn't be dismissed but The Galloping Shoe has been in poor form over timber and is 8lb higher than when last scoring on the Flat.
