Verdict

Jam Session won a bumper here last season and it was a better race than this in which he finished fourth at Exeter last time. Lycidas has found life tough since winning easily on fast ground at Kelso last May but wasn’t disgraced behind Reivers Lad back at that track last month. WENYERREADYFREDDIE proved no match for Brio Conto over 2m3f here five weeks ago but it’s possible the trip was just too far at this stage of his career. He has been second twice now on previous runs here and can go one better today getting 10lb from Lycidas taking into account Ned Curtis’ claim.
