In depth

Verdict

A few of these are bidding to restore tarnished reputations but Knock A Hand goes on the short-list eased in grade and Harry The Viking has already won twice here over fences and is back on a winning mark. Howard's Legacy is capable but hard to predict and never figured at Newbury last time having finished second at Lingfield previously. Fill The Power and Arthur's Pass often force the pace and that could bring the stamina of STORM SURVIVOR into play. He's been dropped a couple of pounds since finishing a close third at Chepstow in the autumn and should find this easier than the Listed handicap he contested last time at Ascot. Fentara finished runner-up at Newcastle last month but this looks a bit more competitive.
