Hayley Turner bows out of race-riding after today's card and will be hoping to end with a bang. She could well land the race named in her honour on HILLBILLY BOY, who won over track and trip on soft going in March of last year in another big field. Tom Dascombe's gelding was just run out of it by Dinkum Diamond when favourite at Leicester last month but deserves a change of luck, though there are dangers everywhere in a race like this. Predominance has had just the two runs and was only beaten a head at Newbury on his handicap debut. Hoof It is no back number while Maggie Pink had something in hand when successful at Newbury two weeks ago. Her trainer, Mike Appleby, also runs Thirsk second It Must Be Faith but Farlow, Withernsea and Jamaican Bolt were all unplaced in this 12 months ago. This may be too far for Adam's Ale but Glenalmond and Instant Attraction are worth considering for each-way purposes.
