      Verdict

Jacobs Son turned in a shocker last time at Ripon when sent off favourite. Deinonychus has won at Lingfield and Leicester this year but his latest second at Newmarket suggests he's in the handicapper's grip now and it will be a surprise if the older horses can get the better of some progressive three-year-olds. Master of Speed is the least exposed of those having made a winning reappearance over 1m2f at Sandown, though the assessor has taken no chances with Roger Varian's colt. MASTER ZEPHYR has a penalty for last week's comfortable win at Newmarket but has improved in leaps and bounds since upped in trip and can deliver again. Fiesole should be winning soon but Triple Dip has now been beaten five times off this mark since bettering the selection on worse terms over 1m2f at Bath in the spring. Hubertas will need to up his game to get back on the winning trail in this grade.
