In depth

Verdict

Tarantella Lady sets the standard here on limited available evidence following a decent runner-up effort at Hexham behind Philharmonic Hall. But she may get outpaced here by an interesting recruit from the Flat in the shape of DUBAWI DANCER. The former William Haggas charge enjoyed a splendidly progressive summer winning four times for her Newmarket handler and looks the one to beat if taking to the jumping game on her debut for Jim Best. Kishanda was claimed out of a Southwell claimer from Hughie Morrison by Gay Kelleway and looks the sort to make a hurdler but it's hard to be overly positive about the remainder.
