BE ROYALE looks interesting in a tricky opener. She's been largely progressive this year and, after beating subsequent Lingfield winner Fever Few at Yarmouth last month, looked a bit unlucky off her new mark at Beverley where she was forced to switch around horses. Red Paladin is usually slow exiting the stalls but is back on the same mark as when scoring over course and distance last year and has the ground in his favour again. Redcar maiden winner Sleeping Apache has a lot to do at the weights but Orbit The Moon is back in the right grade and Broctune Papa Gio appears to be running into form. The consistent Alluring Star is another with decent each-way claims but Pontefract second Checkpoint needs further.
