In depth

Verdict

This is a tricky race to work out so watch the betting for clues with Asian Lady suggested ahead of Embra and Wise Hawk. A 70,000 guineas daughter of Kyllachy, Asian Lady is an interesting newcomer. Gerard Butler's Beauchamp Wizard is of some interest based on breeding, while Benedetto looked to be going the right way at Newmarket last time. Also interesting are Fullandby's brother, Embra, and Premier Danseur, who was beaten a whisker despite running very green on his Catterick debut. Royal Acclammation has nearly three lengths to find based on that form, while William Haggas's Wise Hawk is another interestingly-bred newcomer. Finally, Minus Fifteen showed some promise on his soft-ground Newmarket debut and is entitled to improve on that, and Eric Alston's Novellen Lad is related to five winners but, once again, for the selection, we will side with Asian Lady.
