In depth

Verdict

Bollin Felix was a decent staying handicapper on the Flat with half-a-dozen victories to his credit and made a promising start over timber behind Midnight Opera at Aintree. Winning point-to-pointer Brunswick Gold has shown plenty of ability in bumpers and should be suited by this trip on his hurdling debut along with Mister Wall Street, who will be better for his comeback in October at Haydock over a trip too short. Oliver Sherwood does very well with ex-pointers so Milltown winner Mizen Station is worth a look but this can go to THANKS FOR COMING. Nicky Henderson's charge disappointed when strongly fancied on his debut in a Ffos Las bumper in March but gained compensation at Ludlow in May where he looked certain to be suited by a stiffer test of stamina and a set of hurdles. Drive Time, unbeaten on the Flat in two races in 2009, is another to consider in an open event.
