In depth

Verdict

AKBAR SHAH (NAP) has not been anywhere near the front of the market on any start but is delivering steady improvement on a race-by-race basis and the son of Oasis Dream can continue that progression and get off the mark. He gets the trip well and may be ridden more prominently now, having gained greater experience. Agadeer is the obvious danger on the back of a pleasing Hamilton debut when a strong second to Brexit Time. The champion jockey is booked and he'll go well. Poppy Love has shown enough on the all-weather to suggest she has ability, whilst Zip Along shaped nicely as a juvenile and returns to action after a near 300-day absence.
